Kathmandu: Anyone can now purchase Nepal Telecom’s data, voice and SMS packs using the Khalti Digital Wallet app. Users can not just get it for their own number, but for other mobile numbers too.

Inside the Khalti app, users will see the list of packs along with amount and validity on their screen. It’ll make it easy for them to purchase the fee of various packs of Nepal Telecom without dialing any number.

To buy the pack of Nepal Telecom, users can go inside the data pack on the homescreen of the ‘Khalti’ app and select the desired pack. Nepal Telecom packs range from Rs 12 to Rs 3,000.

In this regard, the MoU was signed between Minu Pradhan, Director of Nepal Telecom and Jonam Bhurtel, Assistant manager of Khalti Digital Wallet.

Jonam Bhurtel, Assistant Manager of Khalti says that Khalti has brought the data pack of Nepal Telecom in the mobile app for the convenience of people. “Customers will now be able to buy packs not only for themselves but for their family and friends too,” he said.

Downloading the app, anyone can now pay for all the packs loading money in Khalti or by making direct payment from the bank linking the bank account in the Khalti app.

Khalti Digital Wallet is a popular payment gateway in Nepal, which aims to make user payments and banking transactions easier and simpler by saving time. Money can be sent to 60+ banks using ”Khalti” wallet as well as mobile recharge, electricity, water, internet and DTH bill payment, movie, plane, event ticket purchase, hotel room booking, payment through e-commerce, daily newspapers, many services such as paying customer fees, government taxes and service charges can be taken.

You can also save money by taking advantage of the cashback available on payments. ‘Khalti’ has more than 1.7 million users.

The ‘Khalti’ app can be downloaded from Khalti.com/app. This app is also available in Play Store or App Store.
